"My wife & I just returned from a much needed few days of relaxation and each other's company. While this hotel is far from a 4 star place, it is very cute, quaint and perfectly located to anything you need. You are across the street from A&G's BBQ which serves great breakfast. The Fat Pelican is a cool little hole in the wall bar within about 3 blocks that offers friendly service and cheap cold beer. And of course the hotel is just a few steps away from the beautiful NC Coast. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The TV gets all the cable channels you need but who needs to stay in the room anyway....you're at the beach. I didn't visit the pool but it was very clean and to get to it you have to walk thru this cute little garden that the owner's keep up. A mini fridge for cold beverage and a big bathroom is all you need. The water pressure could be stronger but it was very suitable. You can't beat the price when compared to the larger hotels along the beach so we will definitely be returning. Great place." - Mark Y. (5 out of 5)
